Council on Foreign Relations
The 2034 Olympics means foreign delegations, international press, and diplomatic relationships landing in District 20. I’m learning the policy landscape before it arrives.
Every room I’m in before I’m sworn in. Water boards, county councils, energy summits, Olympics planning, legislative interim, Colorado River negotiations, because the decisions that shape District 20 don’t wait either.
Why this page exists: Voters deserve to see the work before the vote. This calendar is updated in real time: every meeting attended, every comment submitted, every next action taken on your behalf. Heber. Kamas. Roosevelt. Vernal. Manila. I’m in every community every month.
The 2034 Olympics means foreign delegations, international press, and diplomatic relationships landing in District 20. I’m learning the policy landscape before it arrives.
Preparing questions on infrastructure investment frameworks used by prior Olympic host regions.
The Uinta Basin produces energy for the whole state. Governor Cox’s summit on doubling Utah’s energy capacity is being held in our backyard. The people who do the work should have a voice in the policy.
Attending to represent Uinta Basin energy and industry stakeholders. Bringing specific questions on how Operation Gigawatt policy affects Basin oilfield and workforce communities.
The Post-2026 Colorado River operating guidelines remain in active development. The Uinta Basin’s agricultural water rights are directly in play. I will be in every virtual room for this negotiation.
Registered for full virtual access. Preparing questions on Upper Basin agricultural allocation and Uintah water district protections.
Interim committees shape next session’s bills. Natural Resources, Transportation, Public Utilities and Energy, Law Enforcement. These are the committees where District 20 policy lives or dies.
Attending Natural Resources/Ag/Environment and Transportation subcommittees each month. Submitting public comment on water and corridor issues affecting District 20.
Every road in this district is someone’s lifeline. US-40 connects the Basin to the Wasatch Front. SR-32 connects Kamas to Heber. UDOT decisions made without community input become the potholes, the bottlenecks, and the safety failures we live with for decades.
Signed up for Region 3 project alerts. Tracking Heber Valley Corridor EIS. Monitoring all public comment periods for District 20 corridor projects.
Water management, wetlands, and public health intersect here. This is community infrastructure, and it’s where I show up as a neighbor, not just a candidate.
Attending every month through the election. Tracking how abatement district funding connects to broader water quality and land use in the Basin.
95% of Utah’s water supply comes from snowpack. Olympic venues need snow. The Uinta Basin needs water for agriculture. The same system serves both, and it’s under pressure.
Written comment on Strawberry Reservoir management and Heber Valley water capacity submitted.
The Basin’s county commission sets the local policy environment for energy, land use, and agriculture. I live here. I attend here. I listen here.
Tracking agenda items on produced water reuse, infrastructure maintenance, and workforce housing in Vernal.
You can’t represent a place you don’t show up in. I’m in every community in District 20 every single month: library rooms, coffee shops, wherever people gather. Come talk to me.
Upcoming first rotation: Roosevelt Apr 28, Vernal Apr 30, Manila May 8.
Send the meeting, agenda, road project, hearing, water board, or community event you think District 20 needs represented in.
